It's a bug to my mind. It prevents me from browsing to the camera. Something I have done regularly for years. Fortunately, it's easily fixed like this: *sudo killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor*
