i think i figured it out: suspend fails when a SD card is inserted and mounted. this also explains why suspend never failed on the first try - the SD card gets mounted on resume and so the second suspend fails. this is reproducable for me. the SD card is formatted with ext3, it's a 16GB "extrememeory" SDHC card.
i tried to format the SD card with XFS as suggested at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne110L#Card%20Readers but suspend also fails with the XFS formatted card mounted. i guess a solution would be to unmount the card when suspend is triggered? any clue how to do this? -- [Acer AOA110] suspend/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/336899 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
