That was, in fact, my solution. I'm pleased with Ubuntu, and Firefox 2
is completely satisfactory.

Just because the current version of Firefox is buggy doesn't mean you
have to stop using Ubuntu. You could always use Firefox 2 instead,
which doesn't have this problem, or you could use Opera or Epiphany.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
I would have blamed it on flash and it's wrapper due to me being on a
64-bit system, but I experience it during all use, even trying to enter
this bug it locked up at different points. I am running a fully updated
Hardy Heron, 64-bit, configuration. I will get any further information
upon request.
