Under 9.04 it looked initially as though the Brightness Applet was working; using the keyboard to adjust the display brightness popped up a nice display of the brightness. However the icon in the bar at the top of the screen didn't seem to indicate anything, and when you clicked on that and changed the brightness using the slider that appears, the associated icon displays a 'Stop' symbol in it (a circle with a slash through it).
I don't know whether these two ways of changing the brightness (keyboard vs slider) are the same program or not. Anyway there seems to be some conflict. -- Power Manager Brightness Applet reports incorrect brightness value https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307626 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
