Ciao Richard and sorry for the delay on answering, I've been very busy and the version 8.04 works well so I've been using that since May.
Unfortunately the BUG is still there on release 8.10 I'm sending you two files with uname/dmesg/lscpi/interrupt coming from my same laptop, same HOME partition, laptop on my desk in the same position and location so the same SSID and same router. The version 8.04 gets immediately the wi-fi signal the 8.10 doesn't It would be nice to use the new release which works much better in any other aspects ...... but WI-FI Thank you for your help Ciao from Florence, Danny -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Bug 230887] Re: intel wifi iwl4965 faults also on Hardy From: Richard Seguin <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: 15/03/09 15:38 At this point a re-test needs to be done on this issue as this bug is quite dated. Do you know if this issue still affects you in the current ubuntu release? thanks, Richard Seguin ** Attachment added: "ddUBUNTU8-04" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24638292/ddUBUNTU8-04 ** Attachment added: "ddUBUNTU8-10" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24638294/ddUBUNTU8-10 -- intel wifi iwl4965 faults also on Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230887 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
