Using Jaunty. Changing option in System->Preferences->Keyboard, layout tab, Layout options... button. Setting the CapsLock option to "Caps lock toggles shift so all keys are affected", seems indeed to give the desired effect: <A>a <CapsLock>[LED -> On] <A>A <Shift> [LED -> Off , which seems to be a new correct behavious ] <A>a <CapsLock>[LED -> On] <A>A <Shift> [Led -> Off] <A>a
In "Miscellaneous compatibility options", "Shift cancels CapsLock" is there, but changing back Capslock option to default, then "adding" "Shift cancels CapsLock" option. I seems to see no effect of pressing Shift key without an other key. I don't seem to see any effect in fact. -- [CAPSLOCK] "Shift cancels CapsLock" -> shift doesn't toggle LED state https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248371 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
