In Tools|Privacy, I have "Allow only the users below"
followed by all and only my contacts.
Do I have to change anything to that default setting?

Beside, I have 2 IRC account defined @irc.freenode.net
ubuntu-classroom and ubuntu-classroom-en
Privacy is "allow all users to contact me"
Wouldn't be IRC otherwise, would it?
Do I have to change anything to that default setting?

And the connections are MSN connections, aren't they.
IRC windows have "freenode connect" as heading.

Not until I know what to do and I do tests.
How do you know there's no security issue?
Isn't spurious MSN conversations popping up unsecure?
