I can exactly confirm this bug using jaunty beta. My notebook (acer aspire 5610) stands only 3 meters away from the accesspoint. So the signal is just perfect. But I have tested it now far a few times: average after 465 seconds I loose connection (minimum 70 s, maxmimum 900 s).
When the connection is down the network-manager icon displays still "connected to...". Reconnecting is possible but it really sucks. md5sum of the jaunty cd-image I am using: 03b63dada5e5fce0119a52d822e406a1 uname -r: 2.6.28-11-generic ** Attachment added: "lscpi output" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25260443/lspci.txt -- [Jaunty] Intel wireless 3945ABG is unstable and disconnects frequently https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348204 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
