What I think you need to do is update the system to latest kernel before it freezes
sudo apt-get update (i think its something like that) or via the gui. Anyhow I still experience the same problems. My system crashed few weeks ago and i need to install the wireless before i update it. Also my system partition crashed and i need to recover that data before reinstalling. Problem occurs on most if not all of kubuntu, ubuntu, xubuntu 8.04-8.10. Dont know for prior versions. -- random crashes using nvidia 8200 chipset and nvidia drivers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251491 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
