Have you tried upgrading your BIOS? C-states are exported by the BIOSes and sometimes they don't do such a good job.
OTOH, does this work as expected on other OSes? This bug was reported a while ago but there hasn't been any recent comments or updates. Is this still an issue with the latest pre-release of Jaunty 9.04? Refer to http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/beta . Please let us know. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- idle states of the cpu are no longer recognised on an Asus L3000D laptop. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
