** Description changed: Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop I think due to adopting mono in edgy, some changes should be made to ubuntu-desktop that will make the general desktop more cohesive... Firstly, Banshee... it can rip and burn cd's, and of course play many formats. It has a plugin architechture - which is nice. I also think its - interface is much nicer than Rhymbox. It would allow for removal of + interface is much nicer than Rhythmbox. It would allow for removal of Rhythmbox, Serpentine, and Sound-Juicer. I also believe gThumb should be removed from the distribution. This would only be possible however if F-Spot handles Digital Camera's in a nice way. Both gThumb and F-Spot depend on the same library however, so I believe one should be removed, and I believe it should be gThumb as F-Spot has a nicer interface. I think if Ubuntu is going to ship Mono by default, due to the size of all the components, Ubuntu should stand by this and use more applications that use Mono.
