I found the problem at my side. I had a file called /etc/hal/fdi/policy/10-wacom.fdi which I copied in the past from /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-wacom.fdi to the location in /etc/hal/fdi/policy/ after removing the file from /etc/hal/fdi/policy/ gdm and X is starting well.
