Hi, guys. Exactly the same with me: command line mounts work flawlessly, only boot-time fstab issuing
smbfs: mount_data version 1684370019 is not supported Actually the message (new long number in it) changed when I switched from stating my username and password in plain text in the /etc/fstab to credentials file, available only to the root for reading. The previous one was smbfs: mount_data version 1919251317 is not supported In both cases issuing mount -a as root (or sudo-ing it) worked perfectly. I will appreciate any help on the matter.
