if you can still reproduce it, can you please install thunderbird-dbgsym packages from the ddebs archive mentioned here: "https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#Obtain a backtrace from an apport crash report (using gdb)"
after that please reproduce and create a new backtrace.
