Public bug reported:
When copying some text mainly. I find that if the source that I'm
comping from is closed the the paste wont work, almost like it forgets
the copied text.
-The source can be an error message, once that message is closed then
the paste function wont work.
-I noticed KDE has a clipboard icon on the panel for all this, but its
not really practical and can make the desktop look cluttered
