Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation.

The file /usr/share/python/debian_defaults (from package python-minimal)
is missing an entry for python3.0.

python-minimal:
  Installed: 2.6.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.6.2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.6.2-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin
work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from
here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!
