So now I have tried using wicd instead but it still looses connection.
When I remove the iwl3945 modul ("sudo rmmod iwl3945") the kernel panics
instantly.
Where can I disable the iwl3945 modul permanently?
I have added the line "blacklist iwl3945" to the file
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf but it doesn't effect anything.
