I just upgraded from intrepid to jaunty and began seeing the same problem: NFS mounts are not performed at boot time but mount -a does mount them without a problem.
It seems that sysvinit is not installed. The relevant part of my /etc/network/interfaces is auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 and the fstab line is 192.168.1.3:/unixhome /home nfs, auto bg Setting ASYNCMOUNTNFS=no doesn't help. -- nfs mounts specified in fstab is not mounted on boot. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275451 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
