I managed get Evolution to work. I updated my system to use latest pre-
release updates to jaunty and have not managed to loose the connection
to exchange server since. You can enable pre-release updates at your own
risk from System->Administration->Software Sources->Updates->Pre-release
updates (Jaunty proposed)
