Now, I'm wondering whether it wouldn't be easier to add in /etc/hosts an entry for a.u.c. It should work as long as the URL are preserved:
# temporarily make a.u.c point to old-releases 91.189.88.35 archive.ubuntu.com This way, do-release-upgrade should work now that both feisty and gutsy are in old-releases. However, upgrading from gutsy to hardy will need the work-around I described in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /update-manager/+bug/153980/comments/81 adapted to gutsy/hardy. BTW, make sure you remove the hosts entry once the upgrade is performed. -- 7.04->7.10 "Upgrade" fails: "Getting upgrade prerequisites failed" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153980 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
