Hi there! Actually, I'm getting 2 errors while trying to install:
Unpacking irda-utils (from .../irda-utils_0.9.18-8.1ubuntu1_i386.deb) ... Processing triggers for man-db ... Setting up irda-utils (0.9.18-8.1ubuntu1) ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/irda-utils.postinst: line 184: ./MAKEDEV: No such file or directory /var/lib/dpkg/info/irda-utils.postinst: line 92: update-modules: command not found dpkg: error processing irda-utils (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127 Errors were encountered while processing: irda-utils E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) What's really wired is since this failed installation of irda-utils my wlan-card-module (ath5k) isn't loaded by default any longer. Could this be caused by the failed installaton (e. g. thru the missing update- modules command)? -- [jaunty] irda-utils won't install (depends on /dev/MAKEDEV symlink in postinst) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/340718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
