At the GDM login screen, the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the computer don't respond for approximately 75 seconds, no matter which USB port I try connecting the receiver. Then they respond again, and things go smoothly. During these 75 seconds, my other (wired) USB mouse works fine. Maybe the HP USB receiver has something to do with this issue, but I wouldn't know for sure. I'll try getting a spare wired USB keyboard tomorrow and come back to test the whole thing, to see if this issue is specific to the USB receiver.
