** Summary changed: - 8.10 to 9.04 desktop upgrade fail + bluetooth issues in 9.04
** Description changed: I used the update tool in Ubuntu 8.10 to download the 9.04 upgrade, and had kernal faults when trying to run after upgrading. The upgrading itself did some errors when it tryed to run "bluetooth." From that point, the kernal crashed, and I could not get passed it. I am going to try now to just install 9.04 and format the partition. + + When I installed Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop, I ran updates for the bluetooth + addons, as well as the rest of the ones available. When I went to + restart, I could not initialize bluetooth services, and the kernal hung, + preventing me to boot even with a CTL+ALT+DEL. I reinstalled 9.04 and it + runs great. I will now download updates again this time and not download + bluetooth and see what happens. -- bluetooth issues in 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
