In my case, the installation halted from time to time, indicating that some part of the installation crashed. Sometimes I tried using apt-get to continue the update, and finally I clicked on the orange install- error icon to finish.
I started the upgrade by mounting the ISO image for the alternate 9.10 install CD. When I started the installation, I specified NOT to obtain files from the Internet. On finishing that phase, I proceeded to upgrade using apt-get. I made no changes to sources.list other than commenting out the line for the CD at that point. -- package libsox-fmt-base 14.2.0-1 failed to install/upgrade: Versuche, ?/usr/lib/sox/libsox_fmt_sndfile.so? zu ?berschreiben, welches auch in Paket libsox-fmt-sndfile ist https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
