Hello All, I too am facing this problem. The LAN connectivity is restored only after a power cycle. The following are the details of my hardware Motherboard: Intel DG41TY Chipset: IntelĀ® G41 Express Chipset LAN: Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec) LAN subsystem using the Realtek* RTL 8111D Kernel Version: 2.6.24-24-generic OS: Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron
