Here is the reference to the bug I have reported. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/365401 Global shortcut for KWin 'meta (alt) + backtab' for switching desktops back does not work. It operates equal to 'backtab'. In KDE 4.2.1 it has been ok. DM
