Colin, I thought I had sent you the log files when the matter first arose a well over six weeks ago. It matters little now. My current desktop installation of Kubuntu was a rebuild from the 6.06 final release and it installed flawlessly. Thank you as always for all your hard effort. This distribution is a great pleasure to use.
