The curl -dev packages in Ubuntu 8.04 are installable, as is the
libldap2-dev package. From the error message, it appears that you had
the hardy-updates repository enabled at one point, but subsequently
disabled it. You will need to either downgrade libldap-2.4-2 to the
version in hardy-security, or re-enable the use of the hardy-updates
repository. Note that use of -updates is generally recommended for all
users, and is enabled by default.
