Solved!!!!I Basically the problem was that during installation I have had my external proyector attached to the vga out, it was turned off but plugged in, and the video card and/or grub gets confused and does the boot for the external monitor, even if it is turned off, and then starts the normal monitor whith the login screen of ubuntu, so if the external monitor is off you simply see the normal laptop screen off. Solution then, in my case, was unplugging the external monitor during installation . Also it could happen again if you boot with your external screen turned on. The steps for me where to install another Linux (Debian) jn dual boot, and at a certain point, don t remember exactly, I realized that the problem was solved. Actually inn Debian the problem may happen as well but differently than Ubuntu it autocorrects on next boot if the external monitor cable is unplugged, and it solves the problem for both systems, of course. If you ask me to solve it without installing Debian, I don t know how to do it. I hope this helps somebody else. If someone ever reads it, or happens to have the same funny problem!
