  In Ubuntu Intrepid (sorry, I didn't check with Jaunty yet), if you
  insert a USB device not safely removed from windows, you get a very
  explicit dialog box where there is the description of the problem and
  the solution is provided.
  
  It tells you to use the option "force" to mount the device. Why not
  simply ask the user if he wants to force the mount in that same dialog
  box? Thousands of people would still not be able to do that in the
  terminal even if the procedure is shown in that dialog box.
  
  It would be sufficient to add two buttons to that dialog box: "Force"
  and "Cancel" and to warn the user of the chance of data losses, NOT
  because of Ubuntu mounting it, but because of unsafe removal in windows
  :P
  
  Sorry if it's a duplicate, I tried to search for similar ones, but
  didn't find one suitable. This is intended for the new: One Hundred
  Paper Cuts section.
