I tried In Kubuntu Dapper Live and in Kubuntu Feisty Herd2 Live too, KDE doesn't mount my hard disk partitions. "/" with "ext3" and "/home" with "ext3" too.
I tried in other PC (with Windows installed) and the same problem: Kubuntu Live doesn't mount a NTFS primary partition. In Dapper, to access at the NTFS partition, when I installed the distribution, I need modify "/etc/fstad" file with this line: /dev/hda1 /mnt/win1 ntfs ro,user,defaults,auto,umask=1000,nls=utf8 0 0 -- Kubuntu fails to mount hard drives/partitions on clicking the icon https://launchpad.net/bugs/30944 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
