I am experiencing the same issue, baobab is missing a lot of data, even when I run baobab as root (sudo baobab).
In this case, /media/disk is an NTFS partition on the same drive that ubuntu is installed on (Dual Boot), but I can replicate this issue on other partitions. u...@ubuntu:/media/disk$ du -h --max-depth=0 ./BIDOG/ 29G ./BIDOG/ Yet the Disk Usage Analyser only reports 4.2Gb, when run from the same account. Opening the folder properties shows the same amount of data usage as du. Incidentally the totaly filesystem capacity and available capacity in the screenshot is accurate. Not sure if it make any difference, but I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 x64, currently on 2.6.28-13-generic kernel. ** Attachment added: "Disk Usage Analyser" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28276572/DiskUsageAnalyser.png -- disk usage utility reports inaccurate disk usage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347899 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
