Hi Charlie, I'm not sure you understood my point above. Currently, the only Ubuntu change is the flac recommends. This has been include in Debian, alongside a new standards-version in the latest release. However, there's just no purpose to sync something if it doesn't bring any new *significant* changes. Whether or not it removes a line from MoM, it is to no benefit to sync something in order to just get a new standards- version. Sure, there have been changes in the past which were merged, but as you can see by the diffs, they brought more than just a standards-version update.
