It could only be packaged if there was source and license available (although it wouldn't be the only non-free stuff in Ubuntu :) ) . When almost 2 years ago I reported this I knew very little about packaging and didn't check source or license. Some moths ago I browsed my reported bugs and saw this one. Then, I tried to contact the application authors about the license and where could I get the source but never got any answer.
