My Garmin Forerunner 305 used to work with Ubuntu 8.04 but sometime in between then and Jaunty
Linux shim 2.6.28-13-generic #45-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 30 22:12:12 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux it is no longer able to be recognised/connected. Same symptom as this old bug, a regression perhaps.
