I'm using KDE 4.2.4 release (in kubuntu), and the bug is still there... comics don't advance automatically, and even the manual back/forward arrows aren't properly updated to reflect that new strips are available. After a reboot the newest strip is shown and I can back up to the previous (missed) ones. Following the tip in this report, I found it's also possible to press back and then forward twice to advance.
Desired behavior: The back/forward buttons should always reflect the real availability of prev/next strips, and the new strips should be shown by default when they become available. Nice to have enhancement: make auto-advance configurable, i.e. either it either automatically shows the latest strip, or stays on a given strip until manually advanced (but buttons must always reflect the availability properly). Also, I don't know if there's a standard time of day for updates, but if not - the checking interval should be configurable as well (default to once a day or whatever is the current default). -- kde 4 comic strip plasmoid always shows the same strip https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269833 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
