Okay, I have a lot of free space and the same problem: my «Applications» menu is empty after I tried to hide a wine menu item.
There's no need to delete your customized menu! 1) Go to «~/.config/menus» with file manager. 2) Check that file «applications.menu» is empty. Delete this file. 3) You can open your menu now — it works, but it's reset to default. 4) Find non-empty file «applications.menu.undo-XX», where XX is the biggest number you can find in folder. 5) Copy it as «applications.menu». Now everything is fine. 6) Don't delete your wine menu items until this problem is solved. -- [apport] alacarte crashed with ExpatError in parseFile() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/97449 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
