Workaround for this problem: (Works on Xubuntu 8.04.3 LTS, not sure about other versions.).
Put the theme in /usr/share/icons/ >>/usr/share/icons/MyTheme Modify the 'index.theme' in the '/use/share/icons/default' file to look like this: ---------------------------------- [Icon Theme] Inherits=MyTheme [Desktop Entry] GenericName=MyTheme ---------------------------------- I don't know if the GenericName entry is necessary or not, but I am too lazy to check if it is. Anyways, this works and I have a consistent themed mouse pointer throughout :) Hope it helps someone! -- xfce4 mouse cursor themes not used in all applications https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157447 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
