Hello all, I can confirm this problem on a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad using Ubuntu 9.04 with Nvidia graphics card. I used to work with the proprietary driver (which worked rather fine) and wanted to try out how it works without, and as it occurs, it doesn't work.
