Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I am confirming this bug. I have to agree that having the attachments included when submitting the apport report using apport- collect -p <package_name> <BUG_NUMBER> would be more useful than having only the dependencies.txt file included, especially when the other files are missing. As an example, I submitted my information to bug 404646. Had the other attachments not been present, the added information would not be useful to the developers to attempt to resolve the bug. Perhaps the hook could be changed to insure the attachments are added if missing, or added each time and allow them to be deleted if not needed.
