Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin

the control file for the adobe-flashplugin 10.0.32.18-1hardy1 source
package specifies a dependency on libnspr4-dev & libnss3-dev, which of
course ends up as a dependency in the binary package's control file, but
appears to be unnecessary.

the previously available binary package (version 10.0.22.87-2) did not
depend on libnspr4-dev & libnss3-dev (nor any -dev packages), but the
latest released version does.

i looked at the binary package and there doesn't appear to be any run-
time linking requiring those -dev packages (expected as -dev packages
don't usually provide shared libraries) nor use in the postinst/prerm
scripts of file(s) provided by those -dev packages.

so i believe the dependency on the -dev packages might be unnecessary
and best removed to decrease installation of extraneous packages.

** Affects: adobe-flashplugin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
