I used LiveCD.

I've discovered the reason for X.
I dowloaded DVD and installed using text install. At first boot situation was 
terrible, but... I changed "vesa" driver to "sis" in xorg.conf and it became ~~ 
OK (though too slow). This means, SIS cannot be detected automatically, though 
it is rather old chipset with built-in video.

But the same problem is with Boot splash screen: it shifted to the right
and down. Screen is 1024*768 LCD using DVI interface, so no tuning is
possible.

The problem is in Boot splash + X, and it is not in that the virtual
screen size bigger than real.
