According to this upstream bug report the problem is fixed : http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2110582&group_id=156956&atid=801864 with rev 735. Also I can't reproduce this on current development release (Ubuntu Karmic) with pcmanfm version 0.5.1+svn20090607-1
