A number of people here have commented about the particularly bad effects of skipping a fsck on JFS when there is no AC power. In response to this, bug #361023 was marked as a duplicate of this bug. I'm pretty sure that the behavior on JFS is both different and severe enough that they should be treated separately. Even if this bug is not closed, the JFS should be special cased. As a result, I've marked #361023 about JFS as non-duplicate and added more information and a simple patch.
