Thank you for tking the time to submit this bug. kubuntu-desktop is only
a so called meta-package, used to install a set of other packages (in
this case all the required kde packages). Removing a metapackage will
not remove the kde packages.
I'd suggest you to try this. Assuming you already removed kubuntu-
desktop (if not, please do so) and open the terminal and type:
sudo apt-get autoremove
This should remove all the packages that you installed through kubuntu-
desktop.
Please let us know if it works. In the meantime I will mark this as
incomplete until you will provide more info. Feel free to reopen it once
you have such information. Thanks.
