Useful--Yes I took 5 screenshots. First--My tower has 4 drives inside --total of 1.5TB & I have 2 testing installs + a stable 9.04 & a 64bit 9.04. Grub first goes thru all the UUID info & then checks all 4 drives for filesystem type several times--first time through is a very quick look & then it seems to change to a "high-resolution mode" & repeats this several more times--I left my system grinding away for 20 minutes with iterations of the last 2 screenshots & then forced a reboot & had to use a LiveCD to "fix" grub.cfg so I could have my "normal" 4~5 minute wait for grub to let me in. I'm compressing the files--there are 5 shots in the folder.
