I could also use this a workaround for downloading some packages that gave e Hashsum mismatch on a amd64 running a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 (from CD), but other packages still give the error, v.gr. linux- image-2.6.15-28-generic, if I remember well. I ran several times:
