I don't think /sbin/unix_chkpwd was configured setuid root before: I've tried now changing it to setuid and it doesn't solve the problem.
On the other hand, when I turn the lines in /etc/nsswitch.conf back to: > passwd: compact > group: compact > shadow: compact Gnome-screensaver does allow me to unlock the screen. -- Today I have upgraded the PAM from 1.0.1-9ubuntu1 to 1.0.1-9ubuntu1.1 on Jaunty. After the upgrade, I cannot seem to unlock the screen after gnome-screensaver locks it. I am still able to login in gdm, or in the virtual console. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/426658 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
