Even 32bit systems use the non-free 3rd party codecs/modules, the
AMD64 community can do the same.

Create a work-around for the time being till someone solves this
propriety 32bit codec problem- which hasnt been solved in the past few
years with regards to wmv files at least.

On my own system I use a 32bit static mencoder binary to re-encode rm
and wmv files to mpeg4 avi files. It takes 2 minutes to re-encode. The
proposed 32bit static mplayer binary is an even better solution.
Please reconsider it.

I'm an accountant not a programmer, I do not want to become a package
maintainer.
