Can someone close this bug report? I ended up figuring out what
happened.

It was a few days before this that I was having issues with my Samba
server so I issued a umount -a command to disconnect from all of the SMB
servers we have here. Well, I assumed this would not affect any of the
other mounted file systems. Well the /boot mount was not in use and it
umounted that too. I noticed this soon after submitting this "bug"
report that /boot was not mounted. Well the files are all still there,
of course, so I had a bit of clean-up to do but everything is fine now.
Sorry, I wish I had noticed that earlier before submitting this bug
report.

Thanks anyhow and take care!
